Everest Base Camp Trek has been one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal. On March 28, 9 more Danish visitors arrived Nepal with the mission EBC. On 29th the group had the fabulous time visiting the major attractions of the Kathmandu city. The following day, the flight took them to one of the high attitude airports in the world: Lukla. Without wasting time their trek kicked off. Their trek along the foothills of the great Himalayan Ranges had many beautiful sides.
The traditional Sherpa villages, tranquil monasteries in the quite Himalayas, towering white Himalayas with millions of sparkles, the clear mirror images in the Himalayan lakes and glaciers, friendly inhabitants and the feral nature looked simply outstanding. The team had an ideal itinerary. They had enough time to explore, acclimatize and rest.
On April 8, our guests through our exclusive country partner Kipling Travel were at Lobuche. The 9th was a busy day. They had the high route to Gorakshep 5164m followed by the climb to Kalapattar (Black Rock) 5545m and then they climbed back to the camps at Gorakshep. Kalapattar provides the facility of viewing the Everest through the Mt. Everest Webcam situated there. On the 10th, the trekkers finally made to the Everest Base Camp 5364m. The Himalayan region in Nepal is undoubtedly, the place on earth were literally the heaven begins.
After, the glorious vacation in the heavenly region within the earth, the Danish team slowly descended down back to Lukla Airport. They flew back to Kathmandu from Lukla on the April 14th. After, a day retreat in the city they made the exodus back home on 16th April.
