In order to help travel trade entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable growth in their businesses, the Tourism Development Bank (TDB) in Nepal has come up with Tourism SME loan offer.The loan targets all tourism related ventures like hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars, travel agencies, rafting agencies and handicraft, cottage, garment and carpet industries. The bank was launched a year ago with 569 promoters from 67 districts.In the first year itself, the bank recorded a profit of Rs. 11.8 million and has collected deposits amounting to Rs. 886 million.
