The Malla Hotel  is centrally located between the Narayanhiti Palace Museum and Thamel, Kathmandu’s tourist hub, and is a mere 20 minutes drive from Tribhuvan International airport. The hotel has a very serene, elegant and sophisticated ambiance.

The Malla Hotel has comfortable well-furnished rooms, attractive restaurants and a bar. It offers 125 freshly refurbished rooms, 50 executive rooms and 20 lavish apartments and suites all with attached bath and shower, air conditioning and heating, International Direct Dial Telephone system, multi-channel color television and mini bar. All rooms have a lovely view of the hotel’s charming landscaped garden. The garden has been designed by the late Desmond Doig, renowned author, journalist, architect, landscape designer and artist, and has won an award for the best landscape design.

You can enjoy a fine dining experience at the Tara, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, while the Imperial Pavilion specializes in Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine. The Rendezvous serves delicious continental and Indian fare. Patio, the hotel’s new garden coffee shop, is available for all day refreshment. You can relax with a drink around the pool or in the inviting luxury of the hotel’s bar, the Cocktail Club.

Other facilities include a beauty parlour, shopping arcade, swimming pool, sauna, business center, laundry service etc. The hotel’s Health Club has the latest work out equipment, sauna, massage, steambath and jacuzzi. A recent addition to the hotel’s infrastructure is the Malla Casino which came into operation a few months ago.
