International Airport at Nijgadh to cost NRs 42 billion

According to a feasibility report on the proposed International Airport at Nijgadh in Bara district, a Korean company, Landmark Worldwide, has stated that the airport can be brought into operation within four years (2015) at the investment of $ 600 million (Rs 42 billion). The proposed airport site lies 150 kilometers from Kathmandu by road, stretched over an  area of 80sq km.
