3 Nights in the Monastery.

18 Danish visitors to Nepal recently from October 27 to October 30 had a great time here in Kathmandu with Explore Himalaya. The group arrived to TIA from Paro, and was directly escorted to Benchen Vihar Guest House for their accommodation. Bechen Vihar Guest House is itself a monastery located right in the center of Kathmandu.

It is the perfect place to stay in, if you are keenly interested in Monastery culture. Next two days on 28th and 29th the Danish group had cultural sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu valley. They visited the popular UNESCO heritage sites in the city which includes Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Changunarayan and the durbar squares of three cities within the valley.

The group probably had the most eventful vacation in Kathmandu as they were getting some opportunities to witness the Nepalese culture to some extend at these destinations. They decided to re-visit Swayambhunath in their own, on October 30; the day they flew back.
