Nepal-Africa Film Festival was inaugurated yesterday in Kathmandu by Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav. The three-day festival organized by the College of Journalism and Mass Communication ( CJMC) and Nepal Fashion Home will showcase feature films from various regions of the African sub-continent. Films from Zambia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya depicting African culture and society will be screened during the festival. The screenings are being held at the Russian Culture Center, Kathmandu.
The itinerary was nice, in that we got to see and experience many different types of climate during the trek, i.e., rainforests to mountain passes to villages.
We work with the motto "Tourism for Development". Explore Himalaya Community Service Project was conceived to empower underprivileged segments of Nepal.
