Danish Survival Show – Images

Five Danish girls took on a survival challenge and travelled all the way from Denmark to Nepal for an adventure reality show. Travelling with the filming crew, the girls journeyed from Kathmandu to Samari (a small village in Nuwakot District) and trekked to Langtang Valley. Here are some interesting snapshots from their trip:

A shamanic ritual keeps the girls enthralledJhankris ( or 'local shamans' ) are believed to be the link between the spirit world  and the human world. Like 'shamans' the world over, Jhankris also use spirits (in this case, bottles of  beer and Royal Stag whiskey!) while performing rituals.
