Ms. Gerda Andersen and Mr. Sloth Andersen from Denmark had an extra-ordinary tour of best of Nepal with Explore Himalaya from February 3 to February 10, 2012. The visitors through our exclusive country partner Kipling Travel had an opportunity to grab the quick insight of the diverse cultural, natural and wildlife affluence of Nepal.
Best of Nepal with Explore Himalaya takes the visitors to the cultural, religious and historical venues of Kathmandu which includes the world heritage sites like Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Changunarayan and the ancient courtyards or palace squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan.
The Danish visitors were privileged to encounter the rare one-horned rhino during the wildlife safari on the elephant’s back at the wildlife world heritage site Chitwan National Park. The tour also brought them to the city of natural wonders; Pokhara. Pokhara is considered one of the most beautiful urban valleys of the world. The lakes, caves, falls, gorges and the awesome mountain views are the specialties of Pokhara.
Making the perfect excursion with the friendly travel companion Explore Himalaya throughout the best cities of Nepal, the Andersens made back their exodus back home on February 10.
The meeting and handling was good. Trek & tour guides as well as the support staff were quite good. At Sarangkot the view was excellent but the hotel could have been better.
We work with the motto "Tourism for Development". Explore Himalaya Community Service Project was conceived to empower underprivileged segments of Nepal.
