Glide like an Eagle- Paragliding in Kathmandu

Now one needn’t  journey all the way to Pokhara to try paragliding, one can do it right here in Kathmandu!

For those wishing to take to the skies, Kathmandu Paragliding and Hang Gliding Co & xSports Nepal are offering both tandem and solo paragliding flights. The flights are operated by  licensed Paragliding instructors and pilots.

xSports offers two types of flights: Black Kite Flight & Eagle Flight.  Black Kite Flightruns between 20 and 30 minutes, while the Eagle Flight lasts for about  45 to 60 minutes. Due to weather conditions, no paragliding is scheduled during the months of June to August.

Kathmandu Paragliding and Hang Gliding Co, affiliated to Nepal Paragliding and Hang Gliding Association (NEPHA) and certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) also offers training courses for solo pilots.

The paragliding flights are conducted over the beautiful and scenic locales of Godavari in Lalitpur.

Happy Explorers

The trip was so good and the agent in Nepal very efficient. We had a very good driver and guide for our overland tour in Tibet. Everything was well arranged and we saw so many beautiful places!
