Three British citizens Mr. Philip Michael Hart, Ms. Louise Frances Summer and Mr. Michael Graham Hart had one of the most elite moments of their lives with Explore Himalaya. During their two weeks visit to Nepal from 2nd December to 15 December, 2012 they accomplished the trekking retreat to the Langtang region. Their trek covered Langtang National Park, Kyanjin Gompa, Sing Gompa and Gosainkunda.

The major part of the trek trails the Trishuli River and Langtang Khola. Trishuli River originates at Gosainkunda 4312m. Gosainkunda is a popular Hindu pilgrimage of the Himalayan region. Langtang valley itself falls within Langtang National Park, which is a home of Tamang people in the high altitude. The gompas on the trial Kyanjin and Sing are the secluded homes of Tibetan monks in the region.

The visitors after making the worthy visit to the outstanding sites in the Langtang region made their ways towards the capital via Ghopte, Khutumsang Chisopani and Sundarijal. Langtang trek introduced the visitors to one of the world’s most beautiful valleys- to the Langtang and Jugal Himal with their individual towering peaks.

The visitors from UK made the perfect journey to the Langtang region, which enabled them to have the correct perception regarding the existing beauties in the remote Nepal as well as the cultural practices by the Tamangs and Tibetans in the region.
