Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) along with two private sector travel companies participated at the Guangzhou International Travel Fair – 2011 (GITF-2011) in China. The fair was held at Jinhan Exhibition Center in Guangzhou, from March 24 to 26, 2011.  More than 500 exhibitors representing 40 countries participated at the fair.  Destination Nepal, with main focus on Nepal Tourism Year 2011 was promoted at the fair. The Nepal stall attracted more than 10,000 visitors, 500 travel agents and tour operators during the fair. On the last day of the fair, NTB was awarded with the ‘Best Supporter Award’.
