Erik Frederiksen flew to Lukla on October 24 and straight away he gave an initiation to his trek to Chutanga 3050m. After his three days long and regular trekking  he was at Tangnag 4350 on October 27. He decided to rest for acclimatizing purpose at Tangnag on 28th. He kept on ascending on 29th towards Khare 5000m, he made there on time and rested for a day on 30th at Khare.

He made to High Camp at the end of October. On November 1st, as the month changed Mr. Erik summited Mera Peak 6654m. On the summit he was delighted to view the major mountain peaks in the Everest region.  Mountaineers every year come to Nepal to climb Mera  Peak because the summit of the mountain provides the most spectacular views of five world’s 5 8000m plus peaks out of 14.He was so much excited as he was on the long list of successful climbers to Mera Peak.

Destination few steps ahead: Summit of Mera Peak.

Mera Peak is one of the most popular trekking in Nepal as well as it is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. His all hard work during the trek  finally rewarded him just at the summit. After, the successful ascent to Mera Peak, Erik was on his way descending towards Lukla Airport. He took the flight to Kathmandu from Lukla on November 7th.
