Malaysia Airlines will be operating thrice weekly flights on the Kathmandu–Kuala Lumpur route from September 1, 2012. The airlines will be using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 144 economy class seats and 16 business class seats. According to a press release issued by the airlines, as an introductory offer,the airlines is offering all-in return economy class promotional fares of only RM1200 for travel from Kuala Lumpur to Katmandu. Booking for these fares started from 9 July 2012 and ended on 16 July 2012, valid for travel from 1 September 2012 to 31 December 2012.
