The Bridge separating Nepal and China at Kerung
Kodari border remains close after the devastating quake that hit Nepal on early 2015. However, Rasuwagadi – Kerung border that joined Nepal and Tibet was opened even after the quake. This custom point connects Nepal with Chinese cities like Guanzhou and the Tibetan capital Lhasa. Few technical issues that affected the closure of this border as well is now resolved. After two weeks of closure the Kerung border has resumed operations on Mar 13 2016. Until the Tatopani area is reconstructed and Kodari border is reopened, Kerung will be an important trading route between the Nepal and China.

We work with the motto "Tourism for Development". Explore Himalaya Community Service Project was conceived to empower underprivileged segments of Nepal.
