Himalayan Outdoor Festival (1st-3rd June)
Posted May 31st, 2012 under Culture & Festivals, Special Events,A three-day outdoor adventure extravaganza, ‘Himalayan Outdoor Festival’ will be held at Hattiban Resort in Kathmandu from 1st June,2012. The festival will feature mountain biking, running and rock climbing events. While the mountain biking competition will have three different categories – Marmot Night Uphill Challenge, Hattiban XC Super Challenge and Super D (Downhill), the footrace is divided into Western Union 5 km Trail Run, LA College Champa Devi 10 km Challenge and Muddy Heaven. For rock climbing, there will be two sections- Natural Rock Climbing and Dyno Bouldering competitions.
