A British citizen Mr. Ajay Sharma and two Tanzanians Mr. Medard Urio and Mr. Sosta Uriyo arrived to Nepal on April 16, 2012. The lineup was here to spend a fortnight with Explore Himalaya trekking upto the Everest Base Camp. Their trip also covered a day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.

The next day of their arrival day led to the brief sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The city of cultural, historical and religious heritages; Kathmandu describes the ancient culture and civilization of the entire South Asian region possibly in the best way. This city comprises of uncountable numbers of big and small Hindus and Buddhists shrines full with ancient images and idols of different deities in the form of paintings, wooden carvings, stone statue and metallic figurines.

Their trek began on 18 April, which was led by our experienced and highly knowledgeable guide Mr. Dhan Bahadur Rana. Covering the outstanding Himalayan human settlements at Namche, Tyangboche, Periche and Lobuche, the lineup trekked to Gorakshep 5184m and then climbed to Kalapattar 5545m on 25 April. Next day after, successfully accomplishing the long awaited trek to Everest Base Camp, they began the descending trek to Lukla via Gorakshep, Pyangboche and Namche.

Everest Base Camp trek with Explore Himalaya allowed the visitors with the benefits of proper acclimatization, glorious natural views and incredible cultural encounters. The visitors landed back at Kathmandu airport on 30 April and were directly escorted to Hotel Shanker for their well earned rest.

At the departing moment, the squad thanked our representative at the airport for arranging such an outstanding trip. They also mentioned that the trip would frequently remind them of  Nepal and its generous citizens.
