UAE’s national airline Etihad Airways has bagged ‘World’s Leading Airline’ title at the 17th World Travel Awards. Known as the “Oscars” of the travel industry, the winners of WTA are voted by travel agents worldwide.

Other notable winners at this year’s  WTA included Malaysian Airlines which was  voted the ‘World’s Leading Airline to Asia’,  Singapore’s Changi Airport which bagged the “World’s leading Airport“,  London –  the ‘World’s Leading Destination‘ and ITDC’s   ‘Incredible India’ campaign which bagged the “World’s Leading Destination Marketing Campaign”.
