Frisbaek Mark Jensen and Klint Kasper traveled a long way from Denmark to Nepal with the curious hearts. They had arranged their Everest Base Camp trek with Explore Himalaya. They took the next flight straight away to Lukla on September 20. Their trekking expedition began the same day to Monjo 2835m. Monjo is the small village in the Khumbu region just below Sagarmatha National Park.
Wonderful moments with Himalayan glacier.
Next day, the trek continued to Namche. The rest at Namche on 22nd led the trekkers to Thame on 23rd. Thame is a small village near the Everest which lies on the salt trading route between Tibet, Nepal and India. Jensen and Kasper trekked to Khumjung via Hillary Hospital at Kunde on 24th. Passing Dole on 25th and Machermo on 26th, the Danish trekkers trekked up to Gokyo 4750m on 27th.
Gokyo is a small village, probably the highest altitude settlement which lies at the base of Mt. Gokyo Ri 5357m. Next day the trekkers moved to Gokyo Ri. In the world’s most stunning mountain topography which is unquestionably hard but the surroundings presents more than sufficient rewards. Consider this not just as a hike but additional as one of the handpicked mountain journey.
Wonders of Nature.
The hilarious views of the great mountains including Everest, Lhotse, Mera, Cho Oyu and many more no doubt have the match. The trekking trial had much more on the way. On 30th they crossed Kalapattar 5545m towards the frozen lakebed Gorakshep 5184m. On 31st October, the mission EBC got accomplished. Finally, two Danish trekkers were at Everest Base Camp 5357m.
Perfectly arranged Himalaya range.
Your support staff in Kathmandu was great, what else can I say? Although we had some communication issues (mostly on my part), Kisan was always there to offer support. Thanks again!!!!!!
