Five Danish visitors through our exclusive country partner Kipling Travel arrived to Kathmandu on February 25, 2012. They were in Nepal to explore the mid-hills of Nepal, The mid-hills exploration in Nepal is normally along the dense green vegetation with the striking views of Himalayas in the horizon.

During the hike in the mid-hills, they explored the cultural villages in Nuwakot where the Tamangs (an ethnical group in Nepal) prevail with their ancient cultural values. Tamangs are really wonderful people with a helpful nature. The historical importance in Nuwakot is significant enough with five storied ancient Shah Palace. Along the trek they also got pleasure during the home-stays at Nuwakot and Samari. They took the home-stay arrangements as privilege. Staying in a typical Nepali house and enjoying the typical Nepali meal for couple of nights was notable pact to our visitors. Also, they enjoyed a camping night at Sele. Sele is a hilltop in Nuwakot, perfect for the Himalayan views of the Everest region.

The superb trek along the Nepalese mid-hills ended at Dhading Besi, from where they were escorted back to Kathmandu.

After the cultural encounter in the remote hills of Nepal, the Danish lineup went for a free day at Kathmandu. They were even more delighted to explore the different side of Nepal. Kathmandu a busy cosmopolitan city still remains intact protecting its cultural and historical wealth and enjoys most of the times getting indulged in numerous festivals.
