Climbers flock to Pakistani Peaks

The climbing season has just ended in the Nepal Himalayas. But things are just hotting up in Pakistan, with international teams lining up to ascend K2, Broad Peak , Gasherbrum and Nanga Parbat. Serap Jangbu Sherpa , in his quest to become the first Nepalese to climb the 14 eight thousanders is in Pakistan and preparing to climb Broad Peak and Gasherbrum. Altitude Junkies’ Phil Crampton, with climbing sherpas Pasang Gombu Sherpa and Tarke Sherpa, are also in Pakistan for their Gasherbrum expedition.
