Increasing demand for air seats has prompted Chinese carrier China Southern Airlines to double its flights to Kathmandu. From 23rd Jauary, the airline has begun operating six flights  a week on the Guangzhou-Kathmandu-Guangzhou route. The increase in flight frequency is expected to bring more tourists to the country.
