Operated since November 2013, the hotel has twenty two rooms which include single and twin rooms of standard and deluxe categories. Spacious and clean bathrooms with Japanese style bathtubs (Ofuro), attractive courtyard in the form of chautara, its ancient look, comfortable and well facilitated rooms and restaurant serving wide varieties of food cuisines are the prime highlights of the hotel. “Hotel with no air conditioner and television, yet it is one of the most comfortable hotels in Kathmandu Valley” claims, Anup Shrestha the Operation Manager of the Hotel. Guests on holiday do not have much time to watch television and regarding the temperature the ancient building with 60cm thick wall itself works as AC additionally its Eco-friendly- logic well justified. However, the hotel provides free wifi and heater during winter as well as focuses on adding other necessary amenities as per guest’s suggestions. The peaceful location of the hotel, friendly staffs fluent in speaking English and Japanese languages and the architectural concept and materials used to construct and renovate this ancient building has already  begun to appeal the guests across the globe.
