Trekking closer to the destination
Adventure Challenges Program is a dedicated fundraising wing of Flying Kites Global- the organization which donates the raised funds to uplift the standards of the children under poverty. The early adventurous challenge of 2013 was to summit the African highest peak Mt. Kilimanjaro. As the first challenge was overcome the generous adventurers were on the trek through the mesmerizing Khumbu Valley to the mighty Everest Base Camp (17,598ft).
Every step in the wilderness adds something for under privileged students
The trekkers chased the imaginary footprints of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa as soon as they landed at Lukla airport after one the most thrilling flights of the world. Prior to the flight to Everest Gateway, the fundraising wing of Flying Kites Global also had the wonderful sightseeing tour of Heritage sites within the Heritage Valley- Kathmandu. Beginning the trek with a slide up walk along Dudh Koshi valley a steep ascent took them to the Sherpa capital Namche Bazaar. Overwhelmed with the scenic mountain vista the group of helping hands acclimatized with a day rest at Namche. The group then chased the trail to the land of famous Monastery- Tengboche. Tengboche Monastery is located high on a ridge where splendid orbital scenery unfolds. The breathtaking views of Everest, the Lhotse-Nuptse Wall, Ama Dablam and Kantega dominated this serene and sacred locality.
Mountains, gorges, glaciers and trek- what an adventure?
While trekking past the several Buddhist monasteries on the way the views of Everest got closer and improvised. This dramatically awe-inspiring trek brought the challengers to both Everest Base Camp (5357m) and Kala Patar (5555m). Kalapattar is the most elegant vantage point to view the Everest and several other 8000ers at its vicinity at their best. Accomplishing the challenge the challengers retraced their way back to Lukla and then flew back to Kathmandu.

I got to know about your company through Google. The airport meeting and handling was very good. All the tour & trek guides and support staff were very friendly and professional. Meals during the trek were good and always enough! The transportation was very good.
