Explore Himalaya’s representative was once again at TIA arrival terminal to welcome our valued guests through Kipling Travel Denmark. Ms. Laura Bastholm Hentzer and Ms. Lone Bastholm Hentzer arrived Kathmandu on October 15. After, the sightseeing around Kathmandu Durbar Square on the very day they went to their hotel for the well earned rest. On October 16, the sightseeing tour around the historic city Kathmandu continued. The holy heritage sites Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath were on the list that day.

On 17th, senior Bastholm with little Bastholm flew to Pokhara. Pokhara is the tourist city 200km west to capital. It itself is a great tourist destination with bounty of natural beauties and it is also the best starting option for the treks in the Annapurna region. Laura and Lone drove to Nayapul the following day and right away began their trekking expedition to Ulleri.

For the next five days the unit of two were recreating themselves trekking on the foothills of great Annapurna region. They took the way from Ghorepani to Poonhill. Poonhill is the fantastic view-point on the region to view the striking views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges along with the most unique and sacred Himalayan peak Fishtail.

On the descending way, Bastholms stopped for a night at the culturally blessed Gurung Village Ghandruk. On 23rd October, they were back at Pokhara after the most memorable tour in the mountains.
