Explore Himalaya's team congratulates Lars Gundersen, founder/director of Kipling Travels, Denmark and an active promoter and Ambassador of Nepalese Tourism (since 2009) in Scandinavia for being elected President of Denmark-Nepal Society in Denmark. An active campaigner of Nepalese Tourism in Denmark and other Scandinavian countries, Mr. Lars Gundersen has travelled widely in Nepal since 1987 and has visited the country more than forty times. He has served as a Board Member of Denmark-Nepal Society previously and is also the Representative of Nepal Tourism Board in Denmark. He is the founder-director of Kipling Travel, Denmark, an agency specializing in guided tours to Nepal and a partner agent of Explore Himalaya Travel & Adventure, Nepal.
Explore Himalaya commends and thanks Mr. Gundersen for his untiring efforts in popularizing destination Nepal in Scandinavia and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.

About Denmark-Nepal Society: Denmark-Nepal Society was established in 1969. It is a society of volunteers who work for promoting relations and development of tourism, trade and culture between Denmark and Nepal. With around 300 members, Denmark-Nepal Society is one of the largest and very active cultural societies in Denmark. Every year the society organizes a wide range of activities – lectures on Nepal’s culture, history & tourism, meetings & gathering on specific themes and issues. The society also hosts receptions for visiting Nepalese politicians and notable personalities. ‘Nepal Vision’ a half yearly magazine published in Denmark is the official publication of the society.
