With the restoration of democracy, Nepal is reliving the bygone peaceful days. State of Emergency in the nation has been lifted. Days of strikes and bandhs have come to a halt. Maoists are initiating to come into mainstream politics which has come as a pleasant relief for those innocent rural people who were heartwrenchingly displaced by the insurgency. Reforming the past political impasse, all political parties including the Maoists are abiding by their road map to reach to a consensus for nation building. During people’s war, many regions of Nepal which used to be the major tourist destination remained restricted areas for security reason. Now travelers can just let go of their fear and insecurity and reignite their adventure spirit.
