September 2009 Explore Himalaya Travel & Adventure

Greetings from Nepal!

September is special because this month we celebrate Nepal's biggest festival Dashain. This month is also special for us at Explore Himalaya, as we are organizing the world’s highest skydiving event Everest Skydive 2009, from September 28th. This year we expect more records from skydivers, as compared to last year, as we have received permit from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal to jump from a height of 30,000ft this year (the highest dive was from 29.500ft. in Everest Skydive 2008). So wish us luck and do follow the adventure. National as well as international media will be following the event, and of course there will be regular updates on our blog during the event.

Wish you all a happy Dashain!
