October 2008   Explore Himalaya Travel & Adventure

Greetings from Nepal!

As we post this month's newsletter, history is being made in the Everest region. The Everest Skydive team is poised to make the first skydive over the Everest. A toast to the team and their spirit of adventure!

In our product highlight, we introduce the Makalu 3 Cols Adventure. Graded as a challenging trek, this trek promises to test the limit of one's endurance, as it traverses across three difficult passes: the Sherpani col, West Col and the Amphu Labtsa.

Autumn in Nepal is synonymous with festivals. For this edition's festival highlight we have picked Indra Jatra. We also celebrate two important festivals this month: Dashain and Tihar (watch out for a special festival update in our next edition). The whole Explore Himalaya team wish you happy Dashain and Tihar!
