This spring Explore Himalaya arranged the logistics for three major expedition groups: CAVAPLAND Kanchenjunga Expedition, Lhakpa Ri  Expedition and Altitude Junkies Everest Expedition. This month’s highlights include interviews with members of CAVAPLAND Kanchenjunga Expedition 2009 and Lhakpa Ri Expedition.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Tukuche Peak (6920m) Expedition – 25 days

Mt. Tukuche is a spectacular peak situated in front of Dhaulagiri 1 and the Annapurna range. Tukuche was first climbed by a Swiss team in 1969. Due to its remote location, the area is seldom visited by commercial trekking groups. As far as risk factor is concerned, the expedition to Tukuche Peak is regarded as ‘low risk’.

We are very pleased to inform that three children under the Each One teach One sponsorship program appeared for the SLC (School Leaving Certificate) exams recently. The names of the students are Kishan Adhikari, Rajkumar Lama and Salona Chitrakar. The results are awaited.
