July 2009   Explore Himalaya Travel & Adventure

Greetings from Nepal!

Despite global economic downturns travelers seem reluctant to give up on their travelling plans. TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) posted an increase in tourist air arrivals by six per cent in June. The most encouraging results came from European markets, with an overall positive growth of 25 per cent.

Another good news that we would like to share with our readers is the formation of a powerful new marketing alliance, Asian Connections. Explore Himalaya is the proud member of this alliance which is made up of Asia’s best independent inbound travel operators.
