2011 has been declared Nepal Tourism Year. With the formal launch of the campaign tourism entrepreneurs & officials are gearing up to bring in one million international tourists to Nepal by the year 2011. Steps are being taken to improve and build on the existing tourism infrastructures and facilities. Each One Teach One

Laxman Acharya, a child under the Each One Teach One Community project has a sponsor.

Sophie Cooper from UK, in memory of her nephew Hector Cooper-Williams, has agreed to sponsor Laxman's education.

Laxman who is studying in Class 4 at Shree Sundhara Secondary School lost his father in 2002 during an Army- Maoist shootout. After his father’s death the responsibility of looking after the family fell on his mother’s shoulder. Now she looks after him and her other two children by selling the produce cultivated in their small family plot.
