Alternative route to Cho-Oyu opened

The ministerial cabinet of Nepal government has decided to open an alternative route for the climbers of Mount Cho-Oyu on June 17, 2007. According to the press release issued by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the alternative caravan route for Mount Cho-Oyu will be Kathmandu-Lukla-Namche-Gokyo-Ngajumbakhang Chuli to Cho-Oyu.
